What is an artifact?
An artifact is an output you can open and review separately from the conversation that produced it. The types available to you depend on your workspace and the tools used for the task.
Find an existing artifact
Open Views from the workspace navigation to browse artifacts. If you are looking for an app, use Apps when it is available. Use the library's search field to narrow the list, and use the type filter when you know the kind of output you are looking for.
The library supports grid and list views. Choose the view that makes it easiest to identify the item, then select it to open its details.
Review the content
Check the title and content to make sure you opened the intended artifact. Review important figures, assumptions, and source context before using the result outside the workspace.
If the item came from a conversation and needs changes, return to that conversation with a specific follow-up request. See Writing useful prompts.
Keep names meaningful
If Rename is available in the artifact's actions, use a title that describes its purpose. Include a relevant project or time period when it helps distinguish similar items.
For example, “Operations handover - October” is easier to find than “Document 2.”
If you cannot find an item
Clear the search and type filters, then check that you are in the intended organization. Ask your administrator to confirm access if an item you expect to see is still missing.
